The Wealth Advisor will be a talented individual that plays a vital role in helping our clients identify, quantify and attain their financial goals. This position is directly involved with client relationships helping to develop and implement financial plans. The Wealth Advisor will also be involved in ongoing client planning issues and will assist in the overall growth of the firm.

Key Position Responsibilities:
    •    Assist and support the Lead Wealth Manager during client meetings. 

    •    Review and organize client financial plan data and follow-ups with clients. 

    •    Prepare client financial reports for review with the Lead Wealth Manager. 

    •    Assist in the development and presentation of initial financial plans/recommendations 
and ongoing client reviews. 

    •    Ensure that initial and ongoing plan recommendations are implemented. This position 
will also interface with outside professionals (CPA’s, attorneys, insurance agents, 
human resources personnel at client’s employer, etc.). 

    •    Provide analysis and commentary regarding cash flow, personal insurance, income tax 
projections, and estate planning issues. Be able to review these issues with clients. 

    •    Respond to client inquiries with appropriate follow-up in a timely fashion. 

    •    Prepare occasional and as-needed reports and analysis for client issues. 

    •    Be knowledgeable in charitable gifting strategies and funding higher education costs. 

    •    Assist in the development and be knowledgeable about investment target asset 
allocations for the client’s investment plan. 

    •    Must be adept at both verbal and written communication skills. 

    •    Proactively maintain existing client relationships throughout the year 

    •    Participate in company sponsored client and community events. 

    •    This position is expected to: network with other professionals & with the community at large; promote a positive firm image; and help grow the firm. 

    •    Occasional travel both within and outside the state of Indiana will be necessary in meeting with clients, prospective clients and other business related activity. 

Specific Knowledge and Skills: 

    •    Financial planning and wealth management acumen. 

    •    Detail oriented with strong project management skills. 

    •    Possess sound judgement/analytical abilities with solid problem solving skills. 

    •    Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills. 

    •    Possess a client-first attitude combined with a good work ethic. 

    •    Good interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to interpret client needs in a 
concise and accurate manner. 

    •    Ability to utilize current and evolving technologies to: efficiently perform duties; 
interface with clients; improve productivity; and help the firm stay current. 

    •    Proficiency with MS Office suite of products and other software associated with 
financial planning, income tax projections, and web-related applications. 
Key Qualifications: 

    •    Bachelor’s degree in financial planning, accounting, finance or business required. 

    •    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a financial services firm, preferably in a fee- 
only environment. 

    •    CFP and/or CPA designation in good standing.

The company was founded in 2004 as a fee-only wealth management firm offering financial planning, investment management, and estate planning services.  The firm works with institutional and individual clients and is also a fee-only registered investment advisory firm.

The Founder and President leads the firm and has over twenty years of experience advising high net worth clients in estate planning and wealth management.  He is a Certified Financial Planner with a CPA background.  The president is a charter member of NAPFA (National Association of Personal Financial Advisors) and has served in regional leadership with the organization.

Over the past decade, The company has grown and established a core clientele.  The firm’s clients include individual families, institutional retirement plans and charitable endowments.  In preparing for the firm’s continued growth and eventual transition to new leadership, The company would like to add an experienced fee-only Wealth Advisor to the firm.

An established and growing fee-only wealth management firm located in Carmel, Indiana (a suburb of Indianapolis) serving clients throughout Indiana and in several other states. The firm provides personal financial planning and portfolio management services and has a fiduciary business relationship with all clients. Employees work as a team in performing their duties and assisting in the achievement of both client and corporate goals. The firm is registered with the Indiana Secretary of State’s Securities Division as a Registered Investment Advisor.
